PostSubject: Return of the DMR   Tue 1 Mar - 2:18

She has been MIA for the last two weeks and I am sure that you guys have missed her, but the wait was worth it.

The Armalite Metal body and the Silencer will be the only heavy components.

To make the gun lighter I replaced
-the Rail system with a Magpul handgaurd
-replaced the metal front sight with a plastic one
-replaced the red/green dot with a rear sight
-removed the hurricane stock for a standard LE stock

The internals
-Using the same stock 6.04 509mm barrel as my M16
-reshimmed (not perfectly, but good enough for now)
-downgrade to m100 spring from one of my other guns
-high torque motor was replaced by standard CA motor

FPS is lower than 340, which is perfect for me
Range is effective at over 75 feet, pretty sure it can go farther.
Accuracy is 6 out of 10 on a can at 75 feet.

Was it a good idea to downgrade?
What do you guys think?

i imagine your range is around 100-125 feet acurately.. and probably gonna great for a good cqb gun. with a high rate of fire. but is the length of the berral nessesary? what was this gun planning to do?? length of a m16 but usability of a m4?
not trying to bagg on u, just wanted to know what your intenetions was., i dont understand, let me know.

p.s. your ugly.

No this gun is obviously not for cqb.

I wanted something light and could give me range. I did not emphasis rate of fire since I will only run an 8.4 in this.

The impetus for this build was when I had Peap in my sights and I couldn't reach him with my Magpul, which had an effective range of about 50 feet. It made me realize that I needed to rebuild the DMR. M4 and M16's pretty much have the same internals.

P.S. My first shot will be aimed at your vaj.
